Therefore, we use only disposable materials. All sheets, spatulas, razors, and even slippers are disposed of after use. The specialist changes disposable gloves and masks, and gowns are sent for dry cleaning at the end of each working day.

However, there are elements that cannot be made disposable. This is the Moveo nozzle. Read further on how we clean it.
Some salons offer individual plastic nozzles. In our Motus AX device, the Moveo nozzle is made of natural stone – sapphire. It cannot be individual due to its technology and structure.
So why not just use a film? The sapphire tip contacts the client’s skin, which reduces laser energy loss. This makes the procedure more effective compared to procedures with other laser devices.
Using a film could distort the results of the procedure, which is disadvantageous for both the salon and the client, as effectiveness is our main goal.
Disinfection: how and why?
First, let’s recall what disinfection is and why it’s needed.
Disinfection involves measures that destroy the pathogens of infectious diseases and break down toxins in the external environment.
It is necessary to prevent these pathogens from contacting the skin, mucous membranes, and wound surfaces, and to eliminate pathogenic and potentially pathogenic microorganisms on reusable items.
Disinfection protects you from:
- viruses (including adenoviruses, influenza viruses, parainfluenza viruses and other agents of acute respiratory infections, poliovirus, HIV, hepatitis viruses, herpes, etc.);
- gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria (including tuberculosis pathogens);
- fungi (Candida, dermatophytes, and mold).
Disinfection cannot always kill 100% of microorganisms, but it reduces their number to a level that the human body can handle without consequences.
Additionally, the nozzle is sterilized by applying high temperature.

Disinfection of the MOVEO nozzle in LaserVille laser epilation centers:- The first step of cleaning – Winsept “Express”. This is a professional disinfection agent. It is concentrated and used for quick disinfection of medical and cosmetic instruments. The specialist applies the liquid to a cloth and wipes the handpiece (the tip that contacts the skin).
- The second step for your safety – the application of ethyl alcohol (96.6%). When used externally, it has antiseptic and disinfectant effects. Ethanol coagulates proteins and is active against bacteria and viruses. We apply alcohol to a cotton pad and re-treat the nozzle.
- The third step of cleaning – use Winsept “Express” again. Generously apply it to a cloth and leave the nozzle with the cloth in the device holder for 2-3 minutes to allow the exposure time and maximize bacterial flora elimination.
- The final stage of sterilization – re-treat the nozzle with alcohol and wipe it dry.
