Our attitude towards beauty and self-care

Getting a manicure, coloring your hair, and maintaining a well-groomed body: we may feel guilty about spending money on ourselves during times of war.
But the human psyche cannot endure constant stress. Especially if we’re not involved in combat. We subconsciously begin to seek alternatives to watching the news, opting to take care of ourselves and contribute positively.

For women, the desire to be attractive is natural. Therefore, confidence, decisiveness, and strength are bolstered by visits to beauty salons. Body care helps us feel alive and capable of continuing to contribute.

Moreover, any self-care procedure provides a bit of distraction and eases anxiety, allowing a break from the front-line news.

Red lipstick during world war II

Today, there is a comparison between fighting Nazism and the mention of lipstick, which Churchill used to encourage women to fight on their own front and boost morale during World War II.
This was contrary to Hitler’s views, who despised red lipstick.

When women are defending their homeland alongside men, volunteering at great risk, and working on the information front, psychological resilience becomes crucial. Self-care provides this strength.

What do we recommend?

If you are in Kyiv and can take care of your beauty, or perhaps you started a hair removal course earlier, we invite you to visit LaserVille. This way, you will lift your spirits and allow us to donate funds to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteers.
Self-care during war: is it appropriate? The laser we use for hair removal is completely painless and safe. After the first session, 15-20% of hairs fall out, and the rest grow back more slowly, so you’ll forget about daily shaving.

On your first visit, you get a 50% discount on the area with the highest treatment cost.

The course consists of 6-8 sessions, depending on the treatment area.
